Mad Beauties, it's time to celebrate a long-overdue milestone with you all. As I embark on this journey of intertwining my personal life with my business endeavors through blogging,  I thought I might share this accomplishment - even though it occurred back in 2021.  Despite time passing the significance still remains present making it a story worth sharing with you.

I didn’t attain a higher education knowing that I would be the creator of a small skincare brand.  In fact my diploma from post secondary education is not related to skincare at all (but based in the legal field and even after graduation I didn’t obtain a job in the legal field I went into retail and finance, but that’s for another blog).

Life has this funny way of throwing us unexpected twists and turns, pushing us to grow, learn, and pursue our passions with unwavering determination. The journey I'm about to share with you is no exception.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and international shipping ground to a halt, I found myself at a crossroads. With my online store temporarily closed and uncertainty looming, I faced some tough questions: Should I close my business? Should I cease selling K-Beauty products? Should I pivot to something entirely new? But what would that be? I chose to ask the only person who could answer these questions, myself.

During this period of reflection, I realized that despite the challenges, there was an opportunity to further develop my skincare brand. It was a moment of clarity amidst the chaos of the Covid-19 pandemic. It prompted me to seek avenues for growth despite the circumstances. Recognizing the importance of adaptability and resilience, I made the decision to invest in my brand's future through education.

I started an online journey of learning, enrolling in and successfully completing a rigorous 150-hour accredited course: the Organic Skincare Business Diploma. This course not only equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the ever-evolving skincare industry but also provided invaluable insights into sourcing, curating and promoting organic products that align with both my values and the needs of my customers.

I forged ahead in expanding my brand's offerings, all the while knowing that I would not be able to ship these products internationally for an indefinite period of time, striving to connect consumers with quality skincare solutions that prioritize both effectiveness and safety.

Now, at the time that I was enrolled in this course my collection did not have one single organic or vegan product but since then I’ve dabbled into the vegan and organic K-beauty skincare world and have added two brands that I believe will change your skin care routine and bring it to a whole new level.

Do not get me wrong; I stand firmly behind the other products in my collection. They have all passed the rigorous standards set by the Korean Ministry of Food & Drug Safety, ensuring they're free from harmful chemicals. As we transition into the next season, I continue to rely on these products because they align with my skincare needs and preferences but I wanted to share with you, Mad Beauties, the newest additions to the Madnice collection: certified organic/vegan products made in Korea by Bidalli and Herbloom.

Check out the new 100% vegan formulation products with some organic ingredients, here, with more to be added in the very near future.

As well, I'm in the process of completing another accredited course on Introduction to Dermatology, spanning another 150 hours. Because why not? Why not push the limits when it comes to chasing and living your passions?

But why am I sharing this news with you? It's simple: I want to inspire you to pursue your passions relentlessly, even in the face of adversity. What started as a personal interest evolved into my own business, and I'm committed to pushing my boundaries further, despite the obstacles along the way.

So, Mad Beauties, I encourage you to embrace your dreams, no matter how unconventional they may seem. Take that leap, challenge yourself, and watch as your passions lead you to new heights of fulfillment.

Until next time, Mad Beauties. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and join me on this journey of growth and passion.   Remember to always show your skin some love—it deserves it.
